The SG60 NDP Appreciation Video FYP was done for this year’s NDP parade, targeted towards the show committee of NDP 2025, a collaboration with our client, MINDEF. This project was done in the span of five months, from filming and recording during rehearsals to video editing and sound design.

For this project, I have contributed throughout all the pre-production, production and post-production, such as ideating some ideas during the storyboarding – which helped lead the client visually to what we want to achieve in our proposal, assisting with the camera and sound during shoots – which helped the group to gain some useful footages, and editing the music and some animation shown in the video – which helped to bring the video to life visually and auditorily.

Some things that I have learned in this project are communication skills, technical skills, and problem-solving skills. Developing these skills, allow me to communicate more effectively to ensure that there are no problems or misunderstandings that occur, gain useful experience by learning and applying relevant technical and artistic skills during the project, and allow me to think on the spot about finding solutions in issues.
